Product details

CF (coarse fiber)

First, undergo necessary grinding and degreasing, then boil with a standard concentration sulfuric acid solution, and filter and rinse the insoluble residue. Boil the residue with standard concentration of sodium hydroxide (or potassium hydroxide), then filter, rinse, dry, and weigh the insoluble residue to determine the mass loss after ashing.

NDF (Neutral Washing Fiber)

Neutral detergent solution and heat stable alpha amylase are used to dissolve easily digestible proteins, fats, sugars, starch, and pectin in feed, leaving mainly insoluble fiber residues of plant material cell wall components (cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin) and difficult to digest nitrogen-containing substances in animal products.

ADF (acid detergent fiber)

Use a cationic detergent solution to remove acid unstable carbohydrates, proteins and fats that have not been mixed with Maillard products (thermal breakdown). The remaining fiber residue mainly consists of cellulose and lignin (plant products), or insoluble protein mixtures (animal products and heat damaged feed). Weighing the residue yields the ADF measurement result.

ADL (Pickled Lignin)

After measuring ADF, dissolve the remaining residue in sulfuric acid with a mass percentage concentration of 72% (12.00mol/L), and determine the remaining lignin (ADL) by weight method.

  • FC 221 and FC 223 FiberCap ™ It is specifically designed to provide a low-cost, high-capacity solution for fiber measurement based on Weende van Soest and other recognized methods. Defatting, boiling, rinsing, and filtering are all carried out under reproducible and controllable conditions.

  • The sample cup is a polypropylene container with a lid and buckle. Once sealed, there will be no further sample transfer. The filter membranes used in the sample cup have different chemical properties, and they work together with the lid to ensure that the reagents can flow freely within the FiberCap during the analysis process. This feature ensures repeatable conditions for various types of samples, making it easy to measure even samples with high starch content. All types of samples can be filtered and rinsed within seconds.

  • There are two types of sample cups with different pore sizes to choose from, which can be consistent with the filter paper method or crucible method.
